Not a clear film for windshield. Provides distortion to vision. Properly installed and let cure in the sun for a few days.

Windshield protection film

I installed this windshield protect film last week and so far it has preform great! No streaks when using the windshield wipers and visibility is more than satisfactory. I haven’t gotten hit by a rock so I can’t attest to its protection. Installation was really easy.

Just make sure you review the installation videos and know that your protection film is sandwiched between 2 sheets of plastic for shipping. You’ll have to remove both.

One more comment, you should post the ratio for slip solutions on you website. I’ll definitely buy another one.

Installed and on for about 2 weeks

Here is my honest review. They left a key instruction out of the installation video. There are covers on both sides of the film, not just on the adhesive side. Because I was not aware of this, we were repeatedly resetting the product on my windshield for about 30 minutes. I finally figured out that a second clear cover needed to be pealed off in order to allow the film the flexibility to seat properly. I was pretty frustrated because it resulted in a few imperfections once the product was in place.

It was initially difficult to see through the windshield, but after about a week it mostly cleared up. At this point I think it is as clear as it is going to get, but it is definitely not perfect. I look at it like this, without the film the view is 4k HD quality. With the film installed, the view is like the image from a 1980's tube TV. It does not making driving dangerous, but it is noticeable.

Here's the good part. Last week a rock hit my windshield hard and there is no sign of damage. That's the reason I wanted the product and it did its job.
