Installation Instructions

  1. Prepare the Lens:

    • Clean the surface thoroughly before application.

    • Spray slip solution onto the lens and sticky side of the tint to prevent sticking.

  2. Apply Tint:

    • Start with flat pieces to practice before attempting curved surfaces.

    • Place the adhesive side of the tint on the lens, starting from one corner. Stretch the film as needed to remove wrinkles.

  3. Anchor the Film:

    • Anchor one corner by lifting it and spraying tack solution underneath.

    • Push out air bubbles/moisture using a towel-wrapped squeegee to prevent scratches.

  4. Stretch and Adjust:

    • Spray slip solution under the film as you stretch it to cover the lens.

    • Reapply tack solution for large bubbles and smooth them out.

  5. Heat and Trim:

    • Use a heat gun/hair dryer to conform the film to the lens.

    • Trim edges with an Xacto knife or roll excess film around the lens edge using heat.

  6. Final Touches:

    • Check for bubbles after a few hours and work them out as needed.

    • Tiny bubbles or foggy appearance will evaporate in a few days.

Important Notes

  • Drying Time: Do not wash the car for 48 hours. Avoid highway speeds until the film adheres fully.

  • Bubble Removal: Large bubbles can be popped with a sewing needle and sealed with heat.

  • Film Removal: Heat an edge and peel slowly, removing residue with Goo-Gone or similar products.
