        Preparation

        1. Preparation:

           - Clean the windshield thoroughly with the soapy water solution to remove all dirt, dust, and debris.

           - Dry the windshield using a microfiber cloth

        (For Bulk Method) Film Preparation:
           - Measure the windshield and cut the film to a size slightly larger than the windshield. This allows for adjustments during installation.
           - Lay the film flat and remove any wrinkles.

        2. Wet Application:

           - Spray the windshield with soapy water solution. This allows the film to be repositioned easily.

           - Peel the protective backing from the film. As you peel, spray the adhesive side with soapy water solution to prevent it from sticking to itself.

        3. Positioning the Film:

           - Place the film on the wet windshield, starting from the top and working your way down. Ensure the film covers the entire windshield.

           - Adjust the film as needed to align it properly.

        4. Squeegee the Film:

           - Starting from the center, use the squeegee to press the film onto the windshield. Push out any air bubbles and excess water towards the edges.

           - Work your way towards the edges, ensuring the film is smooth and firmly adhered to the windshield.

(For Bulk Method) Trimming the Film:
           - Once the film is in place, carefully trim the excess film along the edges of the windshield using a utility knife or sharp blade.
           - Be cautious not to cut into the rubber seals or the glass.

        5. Final Touches:

           - Use the squeegee to press out any remaining air bubbles and water.

           - If needed, use a heat gun or hair dryer on a low setting to gently warm the film. This helps to remove any small bubbles and ensures a tight fit.

        6. Curing Time:

           - Allow the film to cure for at least 24 hours. During this time, avoid driving the vehicle or exposing it to extreme temperatures.

        Tips:

           - Work in a shaded area or indoors to prevent the soapy water from drying too quickly.

           - Take your time to ensure the film is properly aligned and smooth.

           - If any bubbles persist after installation, use a needle to poke a small hole in the area and then press them out with the squeegee.

By following these steps, you can achieve a professional-looking installation of windshield protection film, enhancing the durability and appearance of your windshield.

           _______________________________________________________________

Note: It is not uncommon for the finished product to have tiny bubbles or a hazed, foggy look. The film itself is breathable, so tinier, more stubborn bubbles will generally evaporate in a few days. If there are any large bubbles that are unable to be worked to the edge, they can be popped with a thin sewing needle. As soon as you pop the bubble, apply heat to the area to flatten and seal the hole.

Dry overnight, and do not wash your car for at least 24 hours. Thank you for your business and enjoy your Windshield Protection from Bogar Tech Designs!
